The executive council of Edo central NMA as part of her routine courtesy visits to relevant
stakeholders and institutions in the zone, paid a courtesy visit to the management of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma and was warmly received by the management team ably led by the Acting Vice Chancellor of the institution; Professor Samuel Olowo. The zonal coordinator expressed his delight and appreciation to the Acting Vice Chancellor for the reception in very short notice, he thanked the university management for the cordial relationship the association have enjoyed over the years and more so the extended hand of fellowship to doctors in the zone
who were recently appointed as lecturers in the institution. He pledged the association willingness to continue to collaborate with the university community in any area that will advance the welfare and academic growth of her members. The coordinator also praised
the effort of the Acting Vice Chancellor in coordinating seamlessly the affairs of the institution
and wished the management team a successful and highly accomplished tenure ahead. The Acting Vice Chancellor in his remark thanked the executive council members for the honour of a courtesy visit to the management team of the institution, he reiterated his undivided loyalty and commitment to the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) as a member, he thanked
God for giving him the opportunity to pilot the affairs of the university and reassured the association of his willingness to foster more collaborations in enhancing the welfare of members of NMA Edo Central zone. Exco also made a stop- by courtesy visit to the Nigerian Police Force, Ekpoma division and was well received by the Divisional Police Officer; CSP Solomon Adeleye in company of ASP Halima Mohammed. The coordinator thanked the CSP for the reception given in such short notice. He thanked the CSP for enabling a secured environment for her members and the public at large, he highlighted the need for Doctors and the police to continue to work closely together in addressing our mutual needs and expectations. The coordinator in his remark, assured the leadership of the Nigerian Police Force in the zone of her willingness to continue to collaborate with the institution in providing health services to its staff and asked that the Nigerian Police continue to be a good friend of Doctors in the zone. CSP Solomon Adeleye in his remark, thanked the Exco for finding the time off busy schedule to visit the division and acknowledged the importance of both parties to continue to work harmoniously in the zone to foster a peaceful and lawful environment for all. He highlighted the significance of all hands to be on deck in ensuring security for all and stated that security is the business of everyone and NMA have a big role to play.
He assured the association further of the Nigerian Police Force readiness to continue to discharge it's lawful duties in combating crimes and providing the needed security for all in the zone. See snippets of the visits for your viewing pleasure.
