On Monday 18th August 2025, members of MDCAN and staff were part of a grand entourage who joined hands to gracefully welcome the newly appointed Chief Medical Director of UBTH, in person of Prof. (Mrs) Idia Ize-Iyamu, as she assumed office. Members of Exco and members of management led by the newly appointed CMD of UBTH held an interactive session. The meeting marked her first major official engagement since assumption of duty. It was aimed at fostering dialogue, building trust, and setting the tone for a collaborative working relationship between management and our association.
